Introduction of Our New Editors

Written By Dave Devoll

We suffered some setbacks in the past year! Our first issue appeared in May 2011 under the very capable leadership of Jeannette Flynn, a minister of the Church of God Movement recognized movement-wide for her devotion to Jesus Christ, truth, and the body of Christ. Unfortunately, she has been experienced several trying circumstances that have made it impossible for her to continue in this role.

The Publications Committee of Pastors’ Fellowship Steering Committee has, therefore, requested that Pastor Dave DeVoll assume the responsibilities of Editor-in-Chief and that Evangelist Richard Bradley assume the responsibilities of Co-Editor.

Pastor Dave Devoll

Dave DeVoll, Pastor of the South Shore First Church of God, has served in pastoral ministry with the church of God since 1972, full time since 1973. He also has a degree from Appalachian State University in English, and has done graduate work at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He currently serves on the Credentials Committee and the Christian Education Committee for Kentucky Church of God Ministries, and on the Visioning Council for the Kentucky’s East District. He teaches Bible to High School students at Harvest Christian Academy, and frequently substitute teaches there in High School English classes. He brings to the team an expertise in English, as well as a sound grasp and appreciation for both the Movement’s historical understanding of the great doctrines of the church and a deep love for our history. Dave has authored several doctrinal books and papers, including The Christian’s Consecration, Studies in Sanctification; Introducing Bible Prophecy; “Jesus Is Coming Again”; and “Introducing the Church of God.”

Evangelist Richard Bradley

After discharge from military service, Richard Bradley felt God’s call upon his life and prepared for ministry by pursuing a Th. B. and Min. M.  Finding the church of God in the Reformation Movement of the Church of God in the fall of 1962, he pastored four congregations of the church of God in West Virginia for a period of twenty-four years.  Always active as an evangelist from time of his call to ministry, Richard entered into full-time evangelistic ministry in June 1987.  He is the author of five books, The Bible and Today’s Tongues; The Bible and Today’s Wine; Scenes From The Throne; A Journey Through The Tabernacle; and The Kingdom of God.
